Please send payment within 3 days of checkout. Orders may be cancelled if no payment or communication is received within this time.
My March turnaround time is 4-6 weeks. If you need something sooner let me know and I will see what I can do!
As my work is made to order I will give you a delivery estimate once payment has cleared. Shipments will be sent to the address listed on your Etsy invoice. Please double check to make sure you have the correct address.
All of my items are handmade so they may take a little longer to produce than mass produced products. Likewise my style is quite rustic and I often like to leave tool marks and textures to enhance my designs. The equivalent of brush strokes on a painting!
Packages in the UK are sent Royal Mail 'signed for' or Special Delivery so bear in mind that someone will need to be there to sign for the package. Items will take 1-2 days to arrive once I have notified you of shipment.
Shipping will be by tracked airmail. Custom charges may be applied and are the responsibility of the customer. There is always the off chance that your customs department will (& can!) hold your package. Please keep that in mind. Once I have notified you of shipment Items will take approximately 5-7 days to arrive in Europe and 7-10 for USA/Canada. Everywhere else may take from 7 up to 21 days.
Due to custom restrictions on jewellery I am not currently shipping to Australia or New Zealand, sorry for any inconvenience. Some other countries do not allow precious metals through customs so please check this before you order, I'm not able to check the rules for every country! If your order is held by customs I might not be able to get it back for you.
Just contact me within: 7 days of delivery
Ship items back to me within: 21 days of delivery
But please contact me if you have any problems with your order.
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
If you are not happy in any way please contact me and I am sure we can find a solution! I offer a refund on any non personalised necklace, cufflinks, bracelet or bangle if you are not satisfied within 7 days of delivery. The refund will be for the purchase price of the item not including shipping fees.
I am happy to resize rings for free and I would give a full refund to anyone who was unhappy with the quality. However in other circumstances as rings are made to size I would ask to retain some of the material costs. You can contact me to check the refund amount before buying as it will vary for each item.
Gold items will be hallmarked by the Edinburgh Assay Office as a guarantee of gold quality and purity. I send each piece to be independently tested and stamped to show the type of metal (e.g.18 carat). They will also have a small makers mark on the inside/back to show they came from a registered goldsmith (that's me!)
My silver items are not hallmarked as standard but please get in touch if you would like them to be as I can arrange this for a small fee.
I appreciate that buying rings without trying them on can be tricky so I am happy to resize for free (excluding postage costs). Please get in touch to arrange so that I know you are sending it back. Bear in mind that it can be more difficult to increase than decrease ring size.
If you are not sure of your size the best method is getting measured at a jewellery shop or you can buy ring sizers in my shop to use at home. I have found that measuring yourself with string or paper doesn't produce great results so I wouldn't recommend this method.
Ring size scales vary by country so I make rings to the scale you give me. Sizes don't always correlate so I don't convert them into UK sizes as this doesn't give accurate results.
I can often schedule my workload to have rings ready sooner than my usual working times. I can arrange for gold items to be priority hallmarked for an extra fee. Please contact me with your date and I will let you know what I can do.
I make a variety of textures and shapes for rings so I have written a summary below. I always start by making a plain ring band and finish them individually by hand so each is unique. If you use the shop search using these terms you will find each type. Please remember that the surface of any silver or gold ring will gradually wear smoother over time.
I use natural stones to imprint organic patterns.
Smooth undulating shapes with irregular grooves.
I make 3 different hammered looks: round imprints, flat hammered and linear 'tree bark'
Slightly different from the hammered tree back this has thinner grooves and a shiny finish.
Sorry but I am not doing any ring engraving. You can easily add an engraving once you have your ring as many jewellers and hardware shops offer this service.
All of the metals I work with are free from nickel but please let me know if you have a nickel allergy so I can make sure the other products I use are suitable.
The 18 carat gold I use is an alloy of gold, palladium and silver. The palladium gives it a grey tone which I think makes it really interesting! I don't plate any white gold to make it whiter as I prefer the grey tone this also means the colour will always be the same rather than wearing off over time.
I can work in:
9 carat white, rose and yellow gold
14 carat yellow gold
18 carat white, rose and yellow gold
When you are looking through the ring options in my shop you will see some of the combinations and variations I make. The options you can combine to make your rings are:
If you don't see what you are looking for then just ask! You might also see more than one listing for some options as I try to take lots of photos to make it easier to choose.
