    I am happy to resize rings for free but you can pay towards my return postage through this listing. I always recommend getting measured at a jewellers but all rings can feel a little bit different when worn because of the shape and width. If you would prefer to wait a few weeks or months before resizing that's totally fine, it can be helpful to wear your ring in different weather to get a good idea of how your size might fluctuate.

    It would be great if you could include a note of the size you would like along with your return address. Also bear in mind that for most styles it will be easier for me to reduce rings down in size rather than increase. For some rings an increase in size might not be possible, please contact me if you would like some guidance.

    For customers outside of the EU please get in touch as there may be customs charges to send items back to the UK but I can usually recoup most of the fee.

    Frequently Asked Questions

    What if my ring doesn't fit?

    I appreciate that buying rings without trying them on can be tricky so I am happy to resize for free (excluding postage costs). Please get in touch to arrange so that I know you are sending it back. Bear in mind that it can be more difficult to increase than decrease ring size.

    If you are not sure of your size the best method is getting measured at a jewellery shop or you can buy ring sizers in my shop to use at home. I have found that measuring yourself with string or paper doesn't produce great results so I wouldn't recommend this method.

    Ring size scales vary by country so I make rings to the system you give me. Sizes don't always correlate so I don't convert them into UK sizes.

    My wedding is soon, can you make a rush order?

    I can often schedule my workload to have rings ready sooner than my usual working times. I can arrange for gold items to be priority hallmarked for an extra fee. Please contact me with your date and I will let you know what I can do.

    What kind of textures do you make?

    I make a variety of textures and shapes for rings so I have written a summary below. I always start by making a plain ring band and finish them individually by hand so each is unique. If you use the shop search using these terms you will find each type. Please remember that the surface of any silver or gold ring will gradually wear smoother over time.

    I use natural stones to imprint organic patterns.

    Smooth undulating shapes with irregular grooves.

    I make 3 different hammered looks: round imprints, flat hammered and linear 'tree bark'

    Slightly different from the hammered tree back this has thinner grooves and a shiny finish.

    Can I have my ring engraved?

    Sorry but I am not doing any ring engraving. You can easily add an engraving once you have your ring as many jewellers and hardware shops offer this service.

    Is there any nickel in the metals used?

    All of the metals I work with are free from nickel but please let me know if you have a nickel allergy so I can make sure the other products I use are suitable.

    Do you plate white gold?

    The 18 carat gold I use is an alloy of gold, palladium and silver. The palladium gives it a grey tone which I think makes it really interesting! I don't plate any white gold to make it whiter as I prefer the grey tone this also means the colour will always be the same rather than wearing off over time.

    What metals are available?

    I can work in:
    Sterling silver
    9 carat white, rose and yellow gold
    14 carat yellow gold
    18 carat white, rose and yellow gold

    The colours I use may vary from those you have seen before as each alloy can have different 'ingredients' and proportions. My 18 carat white gold is not plated so it has a lovely warm grey tone. The rose gold I use is actually more pink in the 9 carat version while the 18 carat is closer to gold with a blush tint.

    I orginally found this ring and added it to my basket and then left it. I found a cheaper one from ernest jones and after ordering waiting 6 weeks. I decided i love this ring and it was worth the risk When i went to order the ring it was no longer avail. I emailed the seller firewhite and she replied straight away and made the ring available again. I ordered it and received it in the timescale i was given. It was beautiful but a size too big! Again no issues i sent it back the next day and again in super speedy time i have my ring back and it fits. Its beautiful and unique and i feared i would have to buy a ugly plain band because im not allowed stones in my rings because of work but now its show stopping and i can wear it all the time! Couldnt recommend more!

    Fire White expertly resized both our rings which were a bit big (we chose the wrong sizes originally) and now they fit perfectly.
